New Vision, The Yakima County Development Association (YCDA) is a public-private non-profit corporation created to enhance the income and employment stability of the local economy. New Vision encourages business investment that will create jobs and expand the local tax base, markets the County as a place to do business and works with local emerging and expanding business.  YCDA is a one-stop source for all the information and assistance that is available to local businesses from a network of government agencies, chamber of commerce, colleges and universities, and other important non-profit service providers.

Yakima Small Business Development Center (SBDC) promotes economic vitality by providing advice, training, and research to entrepreneurs and existing businesses throughout central Washington.Whether you are well established or just starting out, the Yakima SBDC can make a difference for your business. Located in the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce Building, the SBDC offer a host of services designed to help you grow your business, achieve higher profits, and improve operations.

Counselor’s to America’s Small Business, SCORE, are part of the Central Washington Business Resource Center.  SCORE gives you access to business planning, professionals in the field and small business counseling. Yakima SCORE members are trained to serve as counselors, advisors and mentors to aspiring entrepreneurs and current business owners. The one-on-one consultations are offered at no fee as a community service.  Confidential business advice and counsel include:

RCDR is a a private non-profit community development corporation that is a certifiend microlender, hosts a Center for Latino Farmers and provides business counseling and assistance for  minority and Latino small business owners throughout Yakima County.  RCDR’s mission is to empower individuals and socially challenged entrepreneurs through job creation by providing business assistance, educational workshops, leadership development and access to capital to create wealth in rural counties in Washington state.
